  • Updated

Getting Started

The See Tickets Box Office Android App is compatible to connect via Bluetooth with all Boca printers (with Bluetooth capabilities) deployed to our venues. After you select an event, you will notice a hardware connectivity status section on the top left of the screen:

First time pairing the printer

Printers can take up to 5 attempts to connect when pairing for the first time. You will receive an error saying that "pairing could not be done". Try again. It can be 2, 3, 4 and up to 5 times, before the printer is paired.

  1. Turn on the printer
  2. Pair the printer to the tablet
    • Go to Settings → Connections → Bluetooth (on) → Available Devices, you will find the printer as “Boca123456”. Screenshot_20240216_190306_Settings (1).jpg
    • Tap on the Boca printer, observe the pairing message.

      1. Unplug the printer and plug it back in again. Make sure the printer is on.
      2. Turn the bluetooth setting off and back on.
      3. Try instructions again.
    • You will receive now a request to pair.

    • The app will automatically try to connect.
    • The printer connectivity indicator will display a loading icon for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
    • You will get 1 or 2 new pairing requests within the app, always accept them.
      • If you don't get the pairing requests, or the app doesn’t connect after 1 minute, close the app and open it again, wait for another minute.
    • The connectivity indicator should now be green.

Things to Note

Hardware (Credit Card readers and Boca Printers) are only compatible with the Android app version. If you are on the web version, you’ll notice an “invalid device” message on the hardware connectivity indicators.
